What is Healing English?

Healing English is a live online English conversation academy for Korean adults, founded by Dave Kim with 18 years of teaching experience. Classes are streamed live with real-time student interaction.

How do the classes work?

All classes are live-streamed via YouTube. Students join at scheduled times, participate in real-time exercises, and receive lesson notes and recordings afterward.

How much does it cost?

Annual plans start at 259,000 KRW (about $190 USD) per year. The Master's Package covering all classes is 299,000 KRW/year. A 3-year VVIP plan is available for 599,000 KRW.

Who are the instructors?

Five expert instructors: Dave (18yr veteran, 500K followers), Zeus (NYU, marketing), Kate (UCLA, culture), Jihan (Seoul Nat'l Univ, US attorney), and Jinny (UC Berkeley, news).

Is this good for beginners?

Yes! The Beginner class (기초반) is specifically designed for adult beginners. Dave's teaching style makes English accessible and fun for all levels.

What is the class schedule?

Mon-Thu 8-9PM KST, Sat 11AM-12PM KST, Sun 7-8PM KST. Six live classes per week covering beginner, expression, marketing, culture, business, and news English.

Can I watch recordings if I miss a class?

Yes, all live classes are recorded and available for replay. Lesson notes and review materials are also provided after each class.

How is this different from a traditional hagwon?

Healing English offers live interactive online classes at a fraction of hagwon prices. Learn from anywhere with top instructors, community support, and a dedicated app.
